Install a power locking handle for a truck cap or hard tonneau cover. The lock wires into your vehicle's existing power door locks, so when you lock your truck, you lock your cap or tonneau too. Keys are included to manually unlock the handle.

Add the convenience of a power lock to your truck cap or hard tonneau cover. This kit taps into your truck's existing power lock system, so you can lock and unlock your tonneau or topper using your vehicle's key fob or the in-cab control buttons. Lock your truck doors, and your cap or tonneau will lock at the same time.
This replacement handle has a keyed lock so that you can also unlock your truck cap or tonneau cover manually. Two keys are included. The handle's swing-open cover has a spring return to ensure that the lock remains covered, thus helping to keep dirt and debris out of the cylinder.
To install this lock, run the wiring from your tonneau or truck cap to the front driver's-side kick panel where you will find the wiring for your vehicle's power door locks. The included instruction sheet has a vehicle-specific guide that explains how to locate the correct wires for your application. This may require a circuit tester (sold separately).
The provided wiring harness connects to your vehicle's wiring with the included quick-splice connectors. An in-line fuse is supplied to protect your truck's wiring from overload.
The 2-piece design of the harness allows you to disconnect the wiring quickly and easily in case you need to remove your topper or tonneau. Just unplug the wires at the middle connection point and you can remove your truck cap or cover without having to remove or re-run wiring. Then just plug the harnesses back into one another when you reinstall your tonneau or cap.

Great add to my Truck Camper. Works great and was relatively easy to install. Hardest part was finding the right wire to trigger the lock mechanism but that wasn't too bad.
My husband had some difficulty locating one of the wires, but after successfully completing installation of the Pop & Lock power locking handle, he is very happy with the convenience and security this addition provides for access to the cap.
The lock works great and is very convenient. I should have done this years ago. Getting into the driver's door for the solenoid wiring was fairly easy after finding a good online video.
worked great, difficult install (finding the right wires) but sure made it nice to unlock/lock doors and camper with fob

No issues with the lock after a year.
